About the Artist

I am a Canadian painter who draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Eastern Ontario. Growing up, much of my childhood was spent outdoors at our family cottage, surrounded by water, trees and rugged rock. Those summers became the foundation of my artistic voice and continue to influence how I see and interpret the landscape. The lakes, islands and shorelines I return to again and again are not just subjects for me, they are places of memory, comfort and connection.

Through rich colour, shifting light and the movement of water and sky, I translate these familiar places into paintings that feel recognizable to anyone who has spent time camping, cottaging or canoeing in this part of Canada. Each piece captures that blend of quiet exhilaration and peaceful stillness that comes from being fully immersed in nature.

I live in Toronto, but return often to Charleston Lake for swimming, boating, relaxation and to gather reference images that fuel my studio practice. My paintings invite viewers to return to their own memories and to that feeling of belonging that only nature can offer.
